Adventure Description

Another chance to visit Algonquin during peak fall colours after our first trip rapidly booked up. We'll hike the slightly shorter Track and Tower trail with a spectacular view over Cache Lake.

Algonquin is world famous for its fall colours. We're visiting during peak fall colours to hike a trail with some of the best views anywhere in the park for some truly spectacular fall foliage.

We'll start the Algonquin trip with a drive down the gorgeous Highway 60 corridor - a great spot for catching site of the moose that call Algonquin home. We'll then hike the 8km Track and Tower trail - it has plenty of elevation and some rocky climbs that take us to an absolutely beautiful look out. It's moderately challenging and should be suitable for any members in decent shape. It's often regarded as the most beautiful hike in the whole of the park so you won't want to miss this.

At this time of year it will be even more special with a huge panorama looking over the myriad colours of Algonquin park.

We'll be on the look out for moose, birds of prey, beavers and maybe even some bears to spot safely from a distance.
