Hiking

We offer an incredible variety of hikes throughout the year. Whether you're looking for a quick local adventure or an epic hike that will push you to your limits, we've got you covered.

Local Discovery

$20/Hike + HST

You don't have to go far to find adventure. There are wild patches even within the city when you know where to look. We'll give you a new lens on where you live with these shorter, local hikes, all of which you can access with public transit.

Rural Hikes

$40/Hike + HST

Caves, orchards, rivers - Southern Ontario has a huge variety of hikes within a couple of hours from the city. We explore the Bruce Trail, lesser known Provincial Parks and even some secret spots that you won't learn about anywhere else.

Wilderness Hikes

$60/Hike + HST

We spend much of our time in the epic landscapes of the Canadian Shield, typically 2-3hrs away from the city. You'll feel very far from civilization as we take you into pristine wilderness on hikes that will sometimes challenge and always amaze you.

Camping

There's nothing like a night or two in the wild to make you feel alive. Our camping trips will get you further away from it all than you thought possible, all at a lower cost than you'll find anywhere else.

2-Day Front Country

$195 + HST

Get a taste of camping with our beginner friendly overnight trip. It's the perfect introduction to prepare you for our more ambitious trips.

3-Day Front Country

$325 + HST

Camping on developed campgrounds in some of the most iconic locations the province has to offer. Hot water and flushing toilets included!

2-Day Back Country

$295 + HST

The quickest route to a true reset. We take you to secret wilderness spots that feel completely untouched for trips that feel much longer than a weekend.

3-Day Back Country

$445 + HST

We take you further than you've gone before on paddling trips, deep into the wild. Impromptu campsites lit by starlight, food cooked on a fire -memories are made here.

Paddling

There's nothing better than being on the lake on a hot summer's day. We organize unique canoe day trips you won't find anywhere else.

Local Paddle

$45+ HST

Explore Toronto like never before with our local paddling adventures. You'll be on the water in minutes, getting a view of the city that few get to experience.

Wilderness Paddle

$95 + HST

It's never been easier to get a quick wilderness fix. We run paddling day trips throughout summer to remote lakes that are suitable for folks of all abilities.

Transportation and Gear

We've taken the hassle out of organizing adventures. With our own transport and ever expanding gear library it's never been easier to get outdoors

Transport

Typically $20-$60+HST according to distance

We offer reasonably priced transport that's often more affordable than self driving for most of our adventures. Meet our dedicated, fully insured van, Grasshopper. Not only have we removed one of the biggest barriers to getting out of the city, but we also offer fun road-trips that are as much a highlight as the planned activity.

Gear Library

Typically provided at no cost

Outdoor activities require a lot of equipment. We've got our own library of snowshoes, full camping set-ups and paddling gear to power our adventures. Most gear is available to you on our adventures for free and we've negotiated discounted rates for those occasions where we're hiring from third parties.

Special Adventures

We offer an infinite variety of other adventures that don't neatly fit into one category or another. This is where you'll get to try a new sport, learn a new skill or simply discover something new.

New Sports

So many activities, so little time. Get a taste for something new at our one-off activity intros. Learn archery, go dog sledding, try winter camping all under expert instruction. There's a whole world of activities out there for you to fall in love with.

Outdoor Education

Build confidence and deepen your appreciation for the outdoors with our education program. We offer advanced navigation classes taught by top military instructors, wildlife safety by Ontario Parks staff and a full introduction to camping series.

Day Tours

There's so much culture to discover in the small towns and villages around Ontario - we'll help you experience life outside the city. Visit small mennonite communities, learn about regenerative farming, explore old industrial towns and finish it all off with a visit to a brewery.

Natural Events

We'll get you in tune with nature's calendar and catch the phenomena that only happen during a short window of time. See shoals of salmon running up rivers, forage mushrooms at just the right moment, spot birds during migration.
