Adventure Description

Join us for the perfect intro to cross country skiing. We're visiting Hardwood Hills, just an hour outside of the city to a massive, groomed ski area. We'll start off with instruction from a former member of the Alberta XC skiing team before exploring the forested trails together.

XC skiing is suitable for everyone - it's easy to learn, fantastic exercise and being able to effortlessly glide through the forest is a pretty special experience.

Hardwood is a particularly cool place to visit because they have log fires dotted around the trails where we can warm up and a food station at the top of the hill where you can get hot drinks, smores and enjoy the view.

All rentals, trail access and professional instruction are included in the cost of this adventure. Once you've registered we'll share detailed instructions about what to wear.
