Adventure Description

We're taking over two giant log cabins in the heart of the Haliburton Forest for a New Year's eve celebration. We'll go for a long weekend from Saturday 30th December-January 1st for 3 days of outdoor adventures in the forest, great food and time with our favourite people, all culminating in a group celebration as we bring in 2024.

Saturday, December 30th:

  • Arrival and Exploration Time(12:00 PM - 4:00 PM): Arrive at Haliburton Forest and check into our cozy open loft log cabin before checking out the surrounding area
  • Welcoming Mixer (4:00 PM - 6:00 PM): Get acquainted with fellow adventurers over light refreshments
  • Dinner & Games(7:00 PM - ): Group dinner and an evening of games

Sunday, December 31st:

  • Breakfast (8:00 AM - 9:30 AM): Fuel up with a nourishing breakfast before embarking on the day's activities
  • Outdoor Adventures (10:00 AM - 4:00 PM): Explore the majestic forest through guided hikes and snow-shoeing
  • NYE Celebration Dinner (6:00 PM - 9:00 PM): As night falls, we'll gather for a celebratory dinner to bid farewell to 2023
  • Countdown and Toast (10:00 PM - Midnight): Welcome 2024 with a toast and party

Monday, January 1st:

  • New Year’s Day Brunch (9:00 AM - 11:00 AM): Start the new year with a sumptuous brunch and optional New Years Day walk
  • Departure (12:00 PM): Bid adieu to the forest and your fellow community members

Adventure Includes:

  • Two nights accommodation in open loft log cabins
  • All meals as listed in the schedule
  • Guided outdoor activities
  • New Year's Eve celebration arrangements

Please note, you'll need to bring your own bedding

Itinerary

Saturday, December 30th:

  • Shuttle leaves from Keele Station - 9am
  • Arrival and Exploration Time(12:00 PM - 4:00 PM): Arrive at Haliburton Forest and check into our cozy open loft log cabin before checking out the surrounding area
  • Welcoming Mixer (4:00 PM - 6:00 PM): Get acquainted with fellow adventurers over light refreshments
  • Dinner & Games(7:00 PM - 9:00 PM): Savor a hearty dinner prepared by local chefs using fresh, regional ingredients
  • Campfire and Stories (9:30 PM - Late): Gather around the campfire to share stories, roast marshmallows and enjoy the clear starry skies

This trip is eligible for trip credit use and any credit on file will be automatically applied against the cost of the adventure (up to $25 per adventure).  Review your current credit balance in your account.

Cancellation Policy

$150 non-refundable deposit charged on registration. Balance charged a week before the adventure.
If you cancel and wish to rejoin, please confirm with us on Discord to ensure that the updated registration has been received.
