We're starting off the day with an easy 2 hour hike at a special spot that's close to the city but practically unheard of. Our Secret Hikes are locations that haven't become more widely known that we exclusively share with the WU community and swear everyone to secrecy!

We'll then head over to Decathlon, Vaughan to learn everything you ever wanted to know about staying comfortable on your winter adventures with a Winter Clothing Clinic and shopping event.

We're kicking off the afternoon with a free lunch before an interactive clothing clinic to empower you with the knowledge and skills to dress smartly and actually enjoy any winter weather! You'll learn how to layer your clothing and develop an effective winter clothing system, understand the importance of fabric choices, and get expert tips on the best gear for different cold-weather activities.

Once we're done, we'll have a chance to get kitted outed for your next adventures in Decathlon's massive Vaughan store with an exclusive 15% discount and gear giveaways for Wilderness Union members. We're big fans of Decathlon as an affordable way of getting equipment for any outdoor activity you can imagine and you'll see most of our members wearing something from the store.
