To fully appreciate St Jacobs, you have to understand Mennonite culture so we're starting off the day at Mennonite Stories, the on-site museum. After a quick tour, we head over to the market where we'll have plenty of time to explore this huge space. There's butter tarts, smoked meats, fresh fruit, home produced maple syrup... even a massive outdoor clothes market. Make sure to leave room for food!
Following lunch, we'll head into the town of St Jacobs proper to walk the high street of this small town, taking in ice cream parlours, cafes and cute independent stores.
St Jacobs is a jewel of this part of Ontario, showing a part of the province that's unfamiliar to many of us. It's a great day out!
