Adventure Description

You asked for harder hikes, here's a real challenge. The first 5km of this hike are among the most varied and exciting you'll find - beaver dams, rocks, forest, it's all there. As the trail continues we embark on a loop that sees very few visitors, taking us deeper and deeper into the bush, in an area with more beavers than humans. While the total elevation is relatively modest (260m over the entire 17km loop), the difficulty following the trail and unpredictable weather mean that the hike shouldn't be underestimated.

The reward? An incredibly scenic hike, pristine wilderness, total isolation and an incredible sense of satisfaction once we make it back out!

Did you join us for the Secret Mountain Hike? Or the October camping? We're stringing together some of those favourite destinations together for an iconic hiking loop.
