Learn everything you ever wanted to know about staying comfortable on your winter adventures then shop the gear you need with an exclusive 10% discount! This event is hosted by the outdoor experts at Decathlon and Wilderness Union (WU) - the GTA's most adventurous outdoor community.
In this interactive session you'll learn:
- How to master winter layering systems to be comfortable in any weather
- The pros and cons of different materials
- Deadly cold weather mistakes and how to avoid them
In addition, you will

13:00 - 13:30 - Free Lunch. We're kicking off the afternoon with a free lunch.
13:30 - 14:00 - Winter Clothing Clinic. We will have a short, interactive clothing clinic to empower you with the knowledge and skills to dress smartly and actually enjoy any winter weather! You'll learn how to layer your clothing and develop an effective winter clothing system, understand the importance of fabric choices, and get expert tips on the best gear for different cold-weather activities.
14:00 - 15:30 - Discounted Shopping Event. Non Wilderness Union members will enjoy a 10% discount. We're big fans of Decathlon as an affordable way of getting equipment for any outdoor activity you can imagine - it's become a member favourite for WU activities.
